Chalmers tractor. What do you think platform issues are ? And is it a hydro.

I think the platform issues are the deck problems mentioned.

Appears to have a hydro shift lever on the right side & is likely an electric lift.  Don't disagree with Cowhand but who knows what they mean by platform.

That lever on the right looks like shuttle shift(manual trans), about the same as a land lord parts wise to look at it

The lever for my 6 speed is shorter than a hydro lever on my 7112 Simplicity so I would say it is a hydro.

I agree...the el tric lift helps if it works. Tractor is a 912 Shuttle.
