I found this on another Forum and brought it home this morning. About 20 miles from home. It's a Bolens Husky Pup 770. It's extremely rough, but the free part inticed me to go get it. It's good for some parts. Anything that has a bronze bushing it it is just wiped out. Seat pan, hood and grille are useable, supposedly, the transaxle is ok. Missing the lower section of the dash and column. I'm going to disassemble it and offer the parts to anyone who wants to trade me or buy outright. Cheap prices. Always looking for Ride a matic stuff. Rather trade than sell. I just added the data plate info just now.

bonusbuilt1950, if you go on Sam's Bolens web site look in the photo's section there is a restored 1969 Bolens 770 you can get some idea of what it is supposed to look like.

By the way nice pickup, maybe you will get inspired after seeing the one on Sam's site and want to restore it.

I have 12 Ride a matics and a 1256 that are ahead of this one . They all need restoration. Life is so busy here and I'm supposed to be retired!
