After two days of fun on the lake with my girl and her family I left Monday around noon to head just down the road to a collector that had some Bolens stuff for sale. After getting to see some of his stuff and chatting about old iron we worked a deal on some of the Bolens stuff he had. I came home with a Versa Matic with sickle bar, reel mower, cultivator, and lawn roller. Shortly after I left for home a phone call with a long time collector friend put me in line for a Bolens I had been looking for ever for. You can say the 3 hour trip felt a lot longer then 3 hours after that call.

Wow, great additions! Pretty soon you'll have a museum.

Do you use all the equipment or is it mainly for display purposes?

Both, I have stuff I use every day, some I show, and other that sit waiting on me to get to them.

Great purchase!

I'm curious about this other item that your collector friend told you about, you seem to be pretty excited about it.

Would the missing tractor possibly be a 1958 model?

That is a very nice addition to a great collection of history. I am happy that you saved a few more.
