Hello All,

I joined this forum to sell my 1973 Montgomery Ward tractor. The tractor belonged originally belonged to my grandfather and i have had it for the last 12 years. It is in good condition considering that it is over 40 years old.  I will try to list the specs to my best ability.

1973 Montgomery Ward, GIL 3318CA

16 HP Hydrostatic

wheel weights

4 foot push blade

5 foot snow blade (with attachment)

4 foot grader blade (with attachment)

4 foot rototiller (with PTO attachment)

This tractor runs well and has been we'll kept. I have no idea of its value but would like someone to have it that is and enthusiast and is interested in restoring it. please contact me if you are interested. thanks.

That is a good tractor with a very good collection of attachments. IMO you should keep it until you can fix it up. While you hold onto it, look for a mower deck. Good Luck, Rick

Decent tractor.  It is a little newer than 1973, probably about '75, '76.  '73 would have bug eye lights on the sides of the hood and the hydro control lever would be up through the tunnel cover, yours appears to be on the steering column.

drive control is on the steering column, the hydro lift (up-down) is on the tunnel cover. The left side bar turns on and off PTO. so probably what you said. My grandpa said it was 73 "he thinks".  you are probably right though.

I like the seat.  That tractor has some character.  Usually see more people looking for their grandpa's old tractor, or snowmobile, boat, etc, trying to get it back, than trying to sell.  If you need to sell maybe someone local can get it.  then if you want it back some day you'll know where to find it...
