Hello everyone, this is my first post, I recently bought an old pulling tractor from my neighbor. It is only a roller, so I am wondering what engine is should use. The tractor has 31x15.5x15 tires that are cut. The axle has a really big sprocket, I have not taken the time yet to see how many teeth. With that said, what engine would be best? If I use a 9 or 10 tooth sprocket on the engine, could i use a predator 670 or 420? Also, I wont be using this to pull, it is only a toy to mess aroumd with around the house.

Welcome to GTT. You can look in our Manuals Section for info on the tractor. Post some pics of the tractor so that we can see the situation. Good Luck, Rick

If your not serious about pulling, anything goes.

A chain direct from the engine to the axle seems a bad idea. Pictures would help us understand the situation. Don

Welcome aboard. A few pics would help a lot to understand what you have. Sounds like you have a few variables.
