In the spring, I posted here that I picked up a Speedex 1630.  It is now restored. Had to do some mechanical work, brake linkage, a step to assist this old man getting on and off.  Also had to put on an external coil after internal coil shorted out (after the B&S got a black paint job).  Here is is in New Holland Red.

They are Maple Hunter Decals out of College Station, Texas.  I have used Maple Hunter out of Indiana for tractor decals for years and always happy with the results. Same family.

Thanks Kenny for deleting the duplicate pictures.  My fat finger failure kicked in again.

Grumpy.

This was originally sold in Spring, Texas and the white wheels and seat are correct according to the literature and pictures that came with it.   I have original sales flyer, owners manual and parts manual/flyer.  I would have let my local powder coater do the wheels and seat, but he was running a bunch of black and I did not want to wait 2 months.  He really does great work and is about the same price as me buying good paint.  He did the front bumper and sandblasted, acid washed and powder coated for $26.00.  I get a good price if I don't get in hurry, don't call on the phone and generally don't bug him.   He did 70+ linear feet of ornamental iron stair and balcony rail for me recently for $80.  A real bargain.
