I relocated some of my tractors to another store including my HT20 which I purchased a few months ago. I rigged up a new battery and it fired up ok albeit a bit smokey. I ran it on my mate's trailer and drove it off at the other end. Gave it a very quick run around the yard. Drives ok but the steering clicks when turning and both pedals moves when the left one should be fixed.

Anyone knows what the clicking noise is when the steering wheel turns? I read somewhere about the pedals but can't remember what the fix is.

The tractor will need a lot of TLC.

The clicking may be the bevel gears jumping. You need to inspect the gears. The bushing may be worn and the gears may be worn. A worn bushing can cause the gears to go so, replace it if needed. The steering on my tube frame is hard to get at and they were often not greased by POs. Many wore their bushings out early. Download the big shop manual for Large Frames from our Manuals Section. Good Luck, Rick

Look at the gears, also take a look at the steering bridge, make sure its not broke, that will let the shaft move, and bump against the rod going to the pedals
