what does it mean when you open the gas all the way up then after 15 or 20sec. it kills the motor, then it will start right up.  i changed fuel filter blew out the lines, when it kills the fuel filter is all most full. unless it could be the new carb i put on it, but it runs great. any one got a better idea what i could check.

That is a sign the float in the carb is not set properly.

Before trying anything else. Loosen the gas cap alot. Try running the tractor and see what happens. Sometimes this happens because the gas tank cap vent gets plugged. Also check that the fuel line isn't kinked or restricted(methanol makes the rubber swell). Good Luck, Rick
