Went to the local Tractor Show this weekend. A friend had brought something to sell. He showed me and I bought it before he could get it unloaded. It's a 40" disc set for a Sears. Model # 917.252111, it sat somewhere damp as there is a couple of small rough spots on 2 or 3 of the discs... but that will wear off in time.

Happy guy here, I got a new toy for next spring :thumbs:

Good fine , that one has 10 discs. Mine and most that I've seen only had 8 !

Nice find. The little I have used the dics I bought earlier this year I have found it takes a lot of weight for it work.

Those are very cool! ...and for once, you wont have to modify them to work with your tractor!

I'm still not over the set of Springfield discs he hacked up last year... wish I had joined here 6 months sooner!!

I believe my David Bradley disc's are 8 disk.

Nice find. The little I have used the dics I bought earlier this year I have found it takes a lot of weight for it work.


I use 120lbs worth of square exercise machine weights.
