My son and I will be headed to the "Great Oregon Steam-Up" at the Powerland Heritage Park in Salem Oregon this weekend.  This will be our first time going to this event so we're not going to bring any of our tractors with us.  Maybe next year once we know what it is going to be like.  Here is a link for more information.

Is anyone else going this weekend July 29th, 30th?  It will also be going next weekend Aug. 5th, 6th.

It will be about a 4hr. drive from were we live.

I lived in Salem for 37 years.  Went to the steam-up about 6 times.  Much to see there. It is located about 10 miles north of Salem, in Brooks.  Have a good time, I know you will.

I grew up one road north of there.  My dad took me to one of the 1st ones in the mid '70s.   I always try to go.  We went last Saturday and it was fun as always.

I'd recommend it to anyone that likes old tractors, trains, old cars, miniature trains etc etc.
