Hello all from the shores of South Collinsville, OK. I'm stranded on an island I call 'My Front Porch'. I won't touch another tractor until the grass gets tall enough. Hopefully, it won't blow up in my face like everything else has lately.  Only getting off the island to trek to the shop for more brewski's! Hope you all have a great summer, mine sucks so far!

Anybody have a good South Seas air freshener I can hang off the fan? Not enough winds here, have to make my own wind! Well, that way also!

Enjoy your vacation Kenny. I'm sure you have a great view of the waves breaking on the beach. Sometimes it's just nice to sit back and relax without the hassle of travelling to a crowded destination.  You deserve some quality peace and quiet.

Best thing to do when I'm frustrated is sit down in the shade or in front of a fan drink a beer and take a nap!  Repeat if necessary!

There are days like that Kenny.  I got frustrated with that jerking QT.  Quite it once and the next time I got it out, back to jerking again.  Drove it up in the back corner of the shed , turned the fuel valve off and walked away from it.  Now my main mower, a diesel started to act up when I finished mowing a week ago.  Acted like it was on 2 cylinders part of the time.  Going to dump some cleaner in the fuel and see what that does.  Enjoy you vacation, little cooler today, hot tomorrow and then cooler again.  A long as the beer stays cold and the AC keeps working - - - - .

Remember Kenny, It's only 90 hot days until Catoosa! I thought that would make your sea breeze a little cooler.

Yea, the heat ups the depression factor a couple notches. After a weekend of mowing and tractor work, I go back to real work exhausted, but spend the week day evenings not doing much. Of course this lets things build up till the next weekend. Life is a never ending cycle of chores.

Here you go Kenny, you can stare at these photos when your sitting on your porch.

Maybe your at a nice beach with no one else around?

Maybe your watching some suffers?

You could be getting ready to go kayaking?

Or maybe fishing with the family or friends?

The possibility's are endless with Google Images and if you get in a mood to go for a drive there is always Google Earth .

These are all New Zealand beaches by the way and remember NZ doesn't get hotter then the mid 70's  :dancingbanana:  :poke: :rolling:

Not enough winds here, have to make my own wind!

I'm thinking it is going to take more than one of those pine tree fresheners to handle that wind.

Enjoy your vacation.

I'm on vacation as well Kenny, for today at least but it wouldn't surprise me if it ends up being the rest of the week. We could be building a house in Keswick, but it is an hour and a half drive each way on a good day. I could call up a friend who I know has some work for me and stay busy till we have another house ready to go closer to home, I may do that if we aren't back to work by Monday. I might go out and work on some fences for the chickens and dogs, but I might not too. I have a guy coming over in about an hour who wants to trade his portable ice hut for my compound bow and I will probably head into town to buy chicken feed after  leaves. I will likely enjoy some cold brewski's at some point as well. Enjoy your vacation Kenny, hopefully the rest of your summer is better.

Jim
