In the roaring 20s there were all kinds of stunts like this going on for publicity. If you want to see some great stunts and acrobatics watch some old silent films starting Buster Keaton or Harold Lloyd. I recomend the Keaton silent movie "The General". "Flag Pole Sitting" was a popular stunt in those days. Good Luck, Rick

A table, two chairs and a chap with a view

Definitely not something I would want to try and do

Perhaps a way to draw attention to a mundane life

Or maybe he's just trying to get away from his wife

A quick gust of wind could result in a body falling towards you

or

When you want to get away from people and sit

Relax, think and ponder about life for a bit

Find a spot where you feel comfy and safe by yourself

Perhaps turn a table and two chairs into a shelf

And take a seat and reflect whether into your shell you really do fit

or

Practising to fly in private can be a test

Find a high spot and sit with your vest

Put your arms in position and begin to flap

Watch out for lightning or you may get a zap

And soon you will attract a camera held by a guest

or

Way back when there was a forerunner of reality TV

When there was no box with wires that allowed you to see

People would do strange stunts to get five minutes of fame

The media may have changed but the aim is still the same

To try and get noticed and rich quick in a short time spree
