I made a little video of my Cub 147 with the stack to kind of make a comparison between the Massey MF12 Tecumseh and the Cub 147 Kohler. It is amazing to me how much different they sound and how much more of a bark the Kohler has over the Tecumseh.

That one sounds smoother than the Massey, are they both the same size engine, hp?
BTW this has nothing to do with GTs but I can't believe how green your grass is my lawn hasn't even started to green up yet.

This one is 14hp. It does seem to be smoother then the Massey. When you just have it at a quarter throttle and you cruise around it doesn't seem to keep engine speed steady, not that it surges or anything but the more hydro you give it the more the motor kind of bogs and stays there. When the throttle is set higher it doesn't do that. I am thinking it may just be the way the hydro and motor work together causing that. The cub does run great though and starts up instantly, I just have to check the governor speeed as I think it might be too high so I haven't had it at full throttle very long at all yet.

Our grass really started getting green last week. Once we started getting some of that warmer weather it started changing color. The one neighbor that you see in the start of the video they mowed their whole yard already.

For what we put up with, with their kids they deserve it. We are so happy we are moving. We love kids but their kids have no respect what so ever. They come over and root through the toy boxes to get stuff to play with even when we aren't home or our kids aren't out to play. They walk right in our house without knocking, stick their noses up against the windows to look in and since we both rent from the same people they feel that our ground is their ground. If we owned the place the first thing that would happen is a fence would go up on their side only, I would think maybe they would get the hint then. It is a shame too cuz the husband is a nice guy and he works like 12 hours a day and the wife stays at home and does nothing, not even watches her kids, the grandma comes over to do that.

See what ya started, I feel better though now that I have ranted LOL so thanks.

Oh and when I am mowing the mower is going to magically go extremely slow when mowing beside their house, I don't want to miss any grass :D
