Now, before anyone says, "why did you paint them". I'm gonna start off with, "cause they weren't red anyway" lol

Someday when I have the room to do more the loader is going on this bad boy, and since its a worker with P.S., why not add the duals.

I might paint the tins, and fronts in the future.

Hope you enjoy the pics..

Oh, btw, when I painted the goodies, I used index cards between the rim and tire. Just take all the air out, push down with thumb by tire bead, and insert card. It takes about 5 minutes a side, cards are 70 cents at the dollar store, and best of all you save money by not using tape then tossing it. These are reusable, and the removal process is the same as putting them on.

Very nice. Are the duals 26" tall too? The cards idea is a good one. I'll probably end up doing that on my HT23. Thanks for the tip.

The tires are 27 x 8.5 x 15

Glad you licked the tip! It actually works very, very well, and is sooo much faster then using tape.

Very nice.

As for the painting, I'd ask "why not paint them."

Thank you.

I didn't paint them red cause they are staying on the ht20, and I didn't think red would have been a fitting color. On a 1886, 1250, 1455, 1476 most definitely.

I like it looks very aggressive now. I've used the card masking before & it works great wouldn't do it any other way.

Great idea on the index cards! Looks like you will have plenty of traction.

Thank you.

The cards work great, I don't think I would prep them any other way.

I have never had duals on anything I have ever owned, but I would guess floatation, and stability would be at a new level. I couldn't say how the traction would be either way, but I think it looks pretty good.

It's not everyday you see duals on a large frame. Cool stuff!

Thanks OB!

While I agree with you, I'm not so sure if I would have stopped there. Believe me, it crossed my mind!;)

Looks good! I like your index cards, but I use adult beverage cartons. Break them down flat, draw a circle of the wheel diameter and cut that out. Make two so when split apart, they over lap. Break the bead and slide them in. That way you also get the outside of the wheel next to the tire. I have several sets in 12" and 8" dia.
