I went to see a man in down town Atlanta, GA this past Friday about a small Troy Bilt tiller he had for sale. Had a great visit talking about tractors and such. He's an older gentleman who, like most of us, collects things and had a yard full of mechanical stuff. The city is making him clean up his place due to code violations so he's trying to sell some of his things. I noticed that he had a Kubota T1600 lawn tractor with no wheels and I asked about it. It has a 13.5 HP twin cylinder, liquid cooled, side shaft, kubota diesel and he said the engine ran good but the hydrostatic transmission was shot. He said he would take $400 for all of it. I know nothing about diesel engines, or their value, but it seemed like a decent price to me so I thought I would pass along the info.
If you think ;you might be interested, send me a PM and I'll give you his phone number.
