Just uncovered the 48" deck I picked up a few weeks ago for my 1250 and was able to remove the belt covers and ran the shop vac a little bit to remove some old debris and what looked to be an old mouse nest but the deck is very solid with no rot or corrosion and the factory green paint is still in good condition, everything turns freely by hand and even the belt still looks half way decent.I was able to get a good amount of dirt and grime and old grass, etc. out from under/around the spindles and pulleys with just the hose and tight spray nozzle, then I started scraping anything that was loose on the under side using a couple putty knives. Not sure if I want to sand blast the bottom surface or just do the best I can using a drill and a couple small wire wheels and then give it a couple coats of a good implement paint just to help with rust, etc.............but so far it looks to be in pretty good shape.

The blades will def need some cleaning up and sharpening but they don't look to be dinged up or have hit anything they were not supposed to so that's a good thing! haha
