Hi All,

I am new to this site and I am hoping to get some help with my Bolen's Ride Master. I am looking for several things. My tractor is a type Model 35AA01, serial number 344. It came with the original manuals and shows it as a five horse power.

I am looking to find where to buy front tires for it. The size is 5.50 X 16.

I am also looking for a carburetor rebuild kit. The motor is a Wisconsin AKS serial number 57736. The carburetor is a Marvel Schebler and has the numbers 656 and 370.

I have three of these tractors and used them for a lot of years but since I'm getting older, not so much. Two of my grandkids wanted to rebuild one for a fun project and so here I am looking for parts. LOL

Thanks so much for the help.

Welcome to Gttalk!

R344 would make your tractor number 244 off the factory line and also make it a 1948 year.

57736 Is the spec number of the engine not the serial number. The serial number is a 7 digit number not to far from the spec number.    With the serial number of the engine I can date the engine as well.

If you like I keep a registry of bolens Ridemaster serial numbers and if you like to send them to me I love to add the tractor and engine numbers from your tractors to them.

Here is the right tires for your tractor but just FYI there not cheep!

If you need any more info on the ridemaster feel free to message me or ask here.   I'll even talk to you over the phone if you need to.

Not a problem.    1150811 comes out as a August of 1948 build date.

Feel free to ask if you need any more help.  The paint code for these tractors are also in the Bolens paint code thread.

Thanks so much guys for all the info. Boy, those tires ain't cheap. LOL Mine are all dry rotted so I guess I'll have to spring for at least one pair of them. Wilber: those dates are right on. Two of my tractors were bought at the West End Fair, where I live, on or about the last day of August in 1948. I don't understand about the serial number R344 making it the 244 tractor off the line. Please explain. Does anyone know the size of the belts on these silly things?

The serial number started at R101 so take away 100 from your serial and you get the number off the line.      Bolens 1000 does stock the belts and many other parts for these Ridemasters.    Does any of your tractors have 18 tires and is a 35AA?
