Part # 222680 and 392288.  This is the air cup and the air cover & duct.  Engine type is 03101.  Model 253417.

This is for a 11hp horizontal shaft in a G11XL.  Thanks for the help.  PM me with what you  have.

Cheif, take some pictures of this engine for me. This is oddest Briggs I've ever seen in later models if these parts drawings are right. I have never seen such an animal.  Most I know had Flow carbs in past, then later those kind that mount right on top of gas tank and tank was on engine all the time. This one is really diff than I've seen.  It's hard enough to find the regular air cleaners it seems, bet these even harder. Good luck with it.  This in a Bolen's then? That the G11 part?

Will garb a couple pics in a bit.  In that drawing it is figure's # 642 and 643

Looks to me that those on eBay will work. Might have to jump on them rather quick like. Diff. model # but that could be a mis read on my part, or theirs.  4 for a 1 or 1 for a 4.

Yes gl it is in a Bolens G11XL.  Engine tries to run but floods out so need to work on the carb and float setting, etc.  At least it is not  DOA.

Side shot of that odd ball carb set up.   SAM_0328.JPG

This is the throttle shaft in that carb.  Think it can be repaired ? ? SAM_0320.JPG

The choke lever is an old saber saw blade.  Hole is off a bit but it works.

Worked on that throttle arm this afternoon.  Cleaned the damage area off good with carb cleaner and a clean cloth.  Put some JB Quick on it and worked it around the shaft good on both ends.  The hole in the carb body was wallowed out bad also.  Another clean job and more JB Quick.  The put a lightly oiled drill bit down through the hole, wiped the end off with a Q-tip, light oiling and down into the hole on the other side.  Filled the wallowed out area with JB Quick.  Will find out tomorrow if I fixed it or lost a drill bit.  If it don't work I am not out much.

Drill bit came out this morning without to much trouble.  Started working the JB down on the throttle shaft.  A little at a time and kept on fitting.  SAM_0332.JPG

Got it down to where the end of the shaft went in nice and easy but no play.SAM_0333.JPG

Got it worked down to where it fits real nice.  My milling tools 2 files from a Boley Saw Filer and a chine saw file.

Put some graphite on the repaired parts and worked it good and work nice and free with no play.

Test will come this afternoon when it all goes back together again.
