The Ad
Starts, runs and looks great for it's age, Gas, 3 point hitch, hydrostatic drive, high/low range, lights work, Very wide mower deck that is in nice condition. This is for the handyman because when you turn the mower deck on it blows a fuse????. The first $600 can have it.

I saw that ad and would have jumped on it but I already have 2 tractors under restoration/repair. If it is running and not smoking and the hydraulics and hydro drive seem to be working well it should be worth the money. They are pretty rare around here. The 3pt is a big bonus for sure. Like any 35+ year old tractor you can expect some stuff to be worn out.

I am sure it is not a stock item.

It appears to be supporting the foot stand.
I am sure it is not a stock item.
Yep, the floorboard must have cracked at the mounting point, so he improvised. That can be repaired right, then the chain removed.

As everyone else said, that electrical issue is nothing to worry about, just something to fix.
Yeah, that chain is weird. Why would one go to the trouble of all that minagery, rather than fix the foot rest
properly. Was he trying to support an extra load on the foot board? Like someone standing there? Notice the handle
on the hood? Hmm, anyhow, the fix is no big deal either.
And if you don't want the 3pt, and if Mac doesn't take it off your hands, let me know, as I'd hate to see it
sitting in the corner collecting dust.
