Hey guys, Is the depth gauge that is located on the left hand side of the dash board used with the mower deck or just attachments and implements? There is a cable attached to the back of the dial and it runs down behind the dash but what does it connect to?

I'm pretty sure it connects to an arm on the rockshaft.  So, it really indicates the position (angle) of the rockshaft.  So, it would indicate the relative height/position of any implement connected to the rockshaft.  My 1250's in storage now, so can't get a picture.
