I got myself a Haban 503a flail mower for my 1856 tube frame tractor (18HP conversion). The flail was on a 1556 when I went to see it. It's mostly complete and works well. I did not try it out because my starter died in my tractor. I've been looking for this flail for a while thinking it may work well to mulch my abundance of oak leaves that I dump from the cyclone rake every fall. They make great compost for around the plants. The flails are in great shape as is the steel and bearings. I plan on taking it apart for inspection, bearing replace, new chain etc and make it nice again.

It looks like it is missing the shear bar which I think I could make if I had dimensions. It is also missing the pivot bracket. He had the flail connected to the tractor without it. Would anyone have either of these parts that I could get measurements from? I've attached the parts list picture of both pieces. Thank you for any info.

Yes it is quite functional as is. I want to take it apart just the same and make it nice.
