Well, I don't know.
Mine died before that, but I'd think so.:D

Iwas thinking more about the snow load on the roof. If you get any.

I have the roof pretty solid. I have 3 - 2x4's for joists and then a piece of 7/16" plywood. I think it will be alright with the snow. I have a feeling the chickens will be dinner before we insulate and put drywall in there LOL.

They have already given me way too much crap. I never realized such a small animal could crap so much.

Bob a la King?

Bob & Biscuits?

Had chickens as a kid... almost made me not like KFC. Got so I hated the fowl little things (pun intended). They are poop machines & the rooster will only crow when it's 5AM on your day off.

Good thing for me though is the crowing doesn't bother me because unless I am within about 50' I can't hear him crowing. One positive thing about having bad hearing. :D

We would probably like to keep them over the winter. Let me guess I gotta give them insulation and drywall? LOL

If you get a good heat lamp you dont really need to insulate

Wow, I gotta provide utilities in casa de la chicken too? I think these birds might have to become chicken nuggets before winter sets in. :D

Found a good way to keep chicken meat is to can some of it. Turns Chicken and Rice into a 5 minute meal. Also gives you a big head start on any meal that has chicken in it.
