Kenny, does the small solenoid wire back to the motor for power down?

No, it doesn't.

Kenny , what do you think the lifting capacity will be ? Are you hoping to lift whole tractors ? or just big bulky parts????

Big bulky stuff! I doubt it will lift a full tractor.

Been playing with it more. Had to step back a bit and get the lower arms coming out straight. Have them set right . Made a brace to go between the two upper mounts, just to stiffen things a bit.

Got two braces per side coming down now. Had to put a small offset in them to keep the lowers arms straight. Will be cleaning things up for tack welds, then I can concentrate on going up for the mount.

Looks like you are getting a grip on how things will go together.

Slowly! This thing will mount real high and that bothers me!

I decided it was time to confirm the amount of lift this will have. It's a bit shy of what I thought, 27". Oh well, it's better that nothing! As soon as I round up some help, I will separate the lift to make easier for me to work with. That may be a challenge today!

I separated the wheel chair lift so I can delete the unnecessary items. Also make it easier to build the mount to fit. That one section was top heavy and about all I wanted for the day!

A special welcome   here to member GeorgeT who posted a while back. He's my buddy from the tractor shows around here!

I got a bit more done today! The upper part of the mount is together. I'll marry those tomorrow.

Well, I clamped the parts together and set the lift frame on for a photo op. See what you think.

Got some quality time in so far today! Mounted the mast holder.

DSCN3041.JPG

Then I removed the wheelchair roll-on ramp from the mast.

DSCN3042.JPG     DSCN3043.JPG

Then I mounted the pump back on the mast.

DSCN3044.JPG

Finally, I attached the mast so I can get some angles figured out.

DSCN3045.JPG

It's coming along slowly! Lots to figure out yet!

Got some more done today! Made a pin location to take the place of the fold out, also hold the mast in the right position.

DSCN3046.JPG

Here's a side shot of what I have so far.

DSCN3047.JPG

Went to the rear to see about my 'ROPS'. Found the seat in the way of the mounts I made earlier. Oh well, a bit more 4 X 4  angle fixed that.

DSCN3048.JPG     DSCN3049.JPG

Got one vertical going up.

And both on!
