Finally got back to NYS to get the rest of my Ram parts, craftsman stuff. Easy trip. Got the 59, a belly deck, Power Hoe cultivator attachment, engine for the 59, a Kohler command engine, repro steering wheel for a Ram. Older Square hood snowblower attachment for a Craftsman, Just bursting at the seams here! All I wanted was just one Ride a matic......Now 13 of them! Tonight, I may be going to look at a 1250 with a snow blower. Where does it all end?

just realize you're becoming the "guy" you just bought that stuff from .....at some time he was "you" buying stuff and thinking "look at the great deals and stuff I got from...."

in a few years, you could be the guy selling to the new guy who thinks he got a great deal on all this stuff....

and the cycle goes on....

I have  my own "collections" of stuff - trying to figure out how to get rid of some of it and keep it useful

Holy moley you are going to have one huge collection. It's good to see it in your hands and not the scrap yard.

I went tonight and looked at a 1250. Big machine, but it was cobbled together, did not run. body pan was cut out under the seat where it rotted out. I could lift the pan up and the pass side foot rest on the pan was rusted away. Gas tank was bungied in , not in the correct place. Did have a Wisc 12hp engine. More work than I wanted to tackle. Big snow blower with it.barely turn the steering wheel. Cool tractor, but just too far gone for what he wanted. So I walked away.
