I picked up this MF10 today. I think it will make a nice project.

The previous owner said it lost spark. Gonna have to brush up on the mechanical threads to get ideas. I like the snow blower. The front tires are flat, one is a definite goner. I thought it looked pretty fair over all.

It is my first Massey. The previous owner and his dad were great to talk with. They were into power kings. They used one to help me get this one loaded on the trailer. I gave them a card and talked up the site. I hope they join.

One question they asked me and I have no idea. Are those wheel weights Massey wheel weights?

Gonna get this one out to dad's today and get to work.

Congrats on your find, it looks like it has a lot of potential, but hose do not look like Massy weights as I believe they all came split in two pieces per wheel.

Very nice find indeed! That mower deck looks like it is in great shape too. I would love to see some details of that belt shield at the motor pulley. It looks like it may be part of the snow thrower. I have seen them before, but thought it was home made. Now I am thinking it may of been part of it.

Awesome find Dave and welcome to the red side of the fence :D

Definitely not Massey wheel weights, look like they were home made / one offs someone had made. Overall the Massey looks to be in really good shape. I hope you get her running really easy. If you need an SSI, I have one from my parts MF10 I had but I haven't tested it to see if it works.

Looks like a good buy. Clean the points. If not, put a battery coil on it

I have 2 of those blowers, but no guards like that.
You peeked my interest.
I looked around at agcopartsbooks.com
That belt guard is Oem. part# 1038832M91 , or 1035843M1 depending on the ser#.

As with many guards, they get tossed aside. Having it there, says someone looked after things.

Nice looking unit! The Weights are not Massey 10/12 weights, but I think when you pull them off, you will find they are for 8" tires. They look like the bolt is coming thru on an angle and they are inside the dish. if they are Home made, someone did a nice job making them look good.

Fantastic find on a blower.

I keep watching... maybe someday.
