Went to see jpcubs today. Man, does he have some tractors. I haven't seen that many Cub Cadets together before. The man has some very neat tractors, a few with some options that aren't seen too often. He has several Cubs(4 or 5), and a small army of full sized IH tractors. Forgot the camera. Dang it. I hope he gets his computer fixed real soon. He has got to have some knowledge of IH tractors. Also saw several Speed-Ex tractors.
Anyway, I picked up a Cub Cadet 42" deck for the gauge wheels on it. He wants the spindles back. Deck had lots of PO repairs that weren't too kosher. Saw piles of extra decks.
Got two partial Sears 3 point hitches. One is #917.25178. Both are mainly handle assy's. Picked up two JD front tire/wheel with 1" spindle assy's.(Spindles included) May go back for the front axle. Not sure of what JD it was. Also grabbed a couple 8" wheels for 3/4" spindles.
We talked for several hours and I really enjoyed the trip. Finally got to meet a fellow forum member. And a very nice person, to boot.
Johnny, thanks for having me over.

He wants to post some pics, said he wasn't sure how. Once he gets his computer fixed, I am going to offer to take some pics and help him post them. I would very much like to go back there. He has things that I haven't heard of before. How about a Sears flail mower that has never been used? PO had it shipped in and some parts were missing. Never touched a blade of grass. Plows, cultivators, discs galore. Blades, also. I'm very impressed with his collection.

dstaggs, you could look for quite some time. I got a speed tour and it took over 2 hours. He also rebuilds magneto's for old tractors. Has shelves full.
George, it was very enjoyable. I plan to go back soon with the camera. But I want to be able to show him how to upload pics here, so I'll give him some time to get the computer fixed.
Some of the old full size tractors are steel wheeled. Has a pair of one model that one is steel wheels, other rubber tired. Even has an old IH truck with winch set up that runs. There is enough there to look at, he could have a show with out anybody bringing anything else.

Here's a couple pics of the Sears 917.25178 hitch I picked up. This is all I could find to it, but it is a start. This is no longer available from Sears.

I'll see about getting some pics of the other goodies later today.

More pics of the rest of the goodies. First three are what is left of the deck after stripping. After that I used it to put other parts on for the pics.

#7&8 are of a PO modified 3-point lift handle. The last one is a Wheel Horse part that just looked cool.
