Have Sun Star, bought a hood from Duetz-Allis in green. Have always liked that color and think I'll do whole tractor in it, if it gets going that is! Anyway, where would one find that? Would not think common brand to have in all farm stores, will have to look. I would like avail in rattle cans too if can. Any suggestions or what have others done for theirs?

Check around gl. Some auto parts stores will custom mix paint and put it in rattle cans for you. Not cheep by any means but if your not set up to paint it is an alternative. Just have to put on several coats. I am in the process of painting my White 1655 with rattle can gray, right off the shelf. Color may not match but this is not a show tractor, my daily donkey.

Van Sickle, Valspar, Tallman's, etc; which ever you choose will most likely be special order.

Recently had some color matched by Sherwin Williams in Sur-Kem enamel. Will send you the color number if you want but be advised I had to buy a gallon. Painted my Vanguard & deck, also a 60" deck for my 1920. Still have some items to paint. Nice paint.

If you can't find it in rattle cans check out your local body shop. Most Body Shops mix their own paint any more. My local guy can mix anything from a touch up bottle up to a gallon. Can match up any color, either by number or from chip/sample.
