Well, looks like I'll soon be a proud owner of an Allis 720! I have worked a deal & hope to pick it up this coming week one evening. No deck, which I don't need anyway, and engine is off now for inspection & he said the engine looks great inside, just needing a throttle shaft in the carb and possibly a coil. Tractor has 3pt lift & rear PTO.
I've wanted one of these beasts since first setting eyes on pics of them. Never seen one in person. I have not had any time in weeks for projects I've already got, so this one will have to wait a while, but I at least wanna get her home. Only an hour's drive to pick it up.

Dan
That is one good tractor. AC has a home in my heart.
are you going to keep it.
At one time we had build a D 21 that developed about 1300 HP. Wiscosinn State Point Champion in 1992. Wish I could afford to do that some more.

AC is dear to my heart. As is Massey.

Yep, Larry, the ruggedness & size is what catches my eye, plus the orange is perty too...well a new coat will be!
Ducky, if it makes it to my place, unless something mighty terrible happens, she'll stay with me!
MikeB, no, it's taking every cent I have to get this one, and I'm getting a bargain.

I've got the trailer hooked up & READY! Can't wait to take possession. 2 tires go down, 1 front & 1 rear, so taking my air tank, but I have a hand winch to pull it onto the trailer anyway if needed. Just found out the last few days that these hydro's also have a 3 speed in the final! Only had a 2 speed in most. Being it has rear pto, it gives me another tractor to till with also. Likely be home late, so pics will likely not be posted till sometime Wednesday.

Daniel, I almost did a back flip when I read this thread, you lucky devil you... I have wanted one of those for ever. I think thats the neatest tractor ever built. I ran it's big brother back in the early 80's. The 190XLT, A/C really built these well. Congratulations !!!

Will be a long time before she's restored, but rest assured she will be! I have 2 other projects I need to finish first, but I will try & get the engine running to test all mechanicals before any cosmetic stuff begins. I will likely be leaving the engine stock, as there's very limited room, and I don't think I can stuff a 3 cylinder diesel in there due to axle support placement. OE engine is fine!
Gave Byron a GTT card too, so he'll be coming to GTT! Don't you hate to see a grown man cry when his Allis is leaving! I had to pry his hand loose from her! LOL

These are awesome machines! Wet turning brakes, dropped axle finals, 3 speed rears with Hydro, 2,000rpm rear pto, 3pt lift....everything built STRONG!
I'll get more pics up soon as I can.

Oh Yeah that's sweet! One of the biggest mistakes I ever made was not buying one years ago.
