Have Cub engine M18 that has remote filter lines. I'm putting engine in Sun-Star and no place to put that filter and lines run wrong ways and so-on. I think I could pull out adapters and is pipe thread and use hoses routed other ways. BUT, still not any good place to mount that filter. SO, there is an adapter that mounts right on engine, same place as the hoses now that takes the filter. I may have to cut shroud tin to let it clear it looks like. Anyone have such adapter to sell? M18 twin Kohler. Not sure if the 20 is same or not. I have parts book and also seems some serials may have diff one. SO, not sure exact what is needed till I can get that info, but just throwing this out there to get info on availability used. I'm going to try epay next. Here's some pix of engine and adapter on now.

The parts manual has that adapter listed as part # 82 755 23. Found one here.

Any make horizontal shaft larger engine is hard to come by.  That is why the clones are so popular.

I'm sort of looking for a bigger V-twin Vertical shaft for my newer Husqvarna! Those are big money or saved for the Zero turns it seems. Was 27hp Kohler, but looking at others, even the big Briggs, which were also used in that brand. Best to buy a shot or troubled mower to get all the little things needed for the change. Rear-ends seem to go out on these alot.

Kenny, finding on epay, most about $35 for used ones. All say unavailable new now?  My parts book shows a couple versions depending on serial, not sure I can mess with making sure right one on used?  All look same that I can see.

I saw that on the serial, but the part #'s were the same. No Ebay popped up in my search!

Was weird, no finds for me in reg search, but they always add the Look Here below and was many of them in that group. Not sure why that happens. Just don't have right words in search I guess?

Just went and bought one off epay now. 4 days delivered!  We'll see. From Wisconsin even!  Still will need the gasket, but local shop should have or can get quick, I hope!
