Can anyone tell me the correct drive belt size for this mower? I did some searching and can't come up with anything. The belt on mine was replaced at some point, and it's a little too small. Thanks in advance!

I searched a bit more after measuring the outside of my old belt. My old belt was 28 1/2" long. I found a websight with RUGG belts listed , but no tractor model numbers. One of the belts listed was 1/2" x 29" and that seemed about right. I went and picked one up, installed it, and now it works as it should. This thing was a pain to change the belt. Not much room to get your hands in anywhere.

Thanks Jay, I really should keep more belts around. At least NAPA had one in stock and I was able to get it back together today. With the right belt, it's not dangerous anymore, heh! It didn't smoke at all when I started it and ran it for a while today, so maybe a ring was stuck from sitting.
