Linkage problem on my 15 horse briggs

Whenever you remove the carburetor, intake manifold, or any of the linkage, you have to reset your governor arm. Try that and see if you get full motion of your throttle.

You're welcome, glad it worked out for you. Your governor may have been out of whack before. With it adjusted as it should be now, it should really run well.
