Went to pick up some sears implements today and what's left of a Suburban ended up in the pile. The T1600 is another pile that runs so, let the swap begin. Rotation and mounting to be sorted out after cleanup and some Kubota disassembly

Why not keep Kubota as is, that Sears looks pretty rung out, even for beater!!

Trans on kubota is bad, the hood is really just laying on it, the console area is cracked in several place, steering sector has suffered because of that, the list is long and the sears is really is just a platform to work from that looks more pleasing to me.

Welcome to GTT. Check out our Manuals Section for info that you may need. Post pics as you progress through this project. Ask questions when you've got them. Good Luck, Rick

Those trans were know to go bad, the front bearing lacks enough support to deal with any drive shaft vibrations, so if the U joint goes bad, the bearing cannot keep the input shaft running true and it beats up the inside of the hydro pump.  Should be interesting to see how you shoe horn the 2 cylinder engine and radiator into a suburban.  I will be watching this one!    Mike
