I've been browsing Kijiji/craigslist for a parts tractor for my 1254 for several months. I am specifically looking for ones that have a free wheeling hub, part number 1716509. You can see the current arrangement here: http://gardentractor...il/#entry694453

Which tractors would have a part that is interchangeable, or is this something one of the vendors may have in stock? I may require the whole axle assembly, which is why I'm looking for an entire tractor.

From the files that LPBolens created these models would take the hub you are looking for - you could check the parts manuals and see if the axles are the same.

My neighbor has a parts tractor that has that whole rear end. I used a lot of its parts to fix another tractor for him. I believe he wants to get rid of it, but we are in central Wisconsin and he is not a computer person. He would most likely part with it very easily. I can ask if you would like just shoot me a message.

I am sorry, belay my last. The stingy son of a gun won't come off it! I guess I should have known as this same guy sold me a dozer that I said I would only buy if I could get it to turn over. Half hour in I had it running and went to pay him, he then doubled the price and said he would have to keep it because it ran. Sorry about that.

I hope you charged him heavily for time spent getting his dozer running.

Thanks for the info. Helps me narrow my search down a bit.
