Hey guy's my son picked up an old gt 14 yesterday and I have a few questions for you all. The tractor is mostly there but sounds like it will need a rebuild do to a main rod knock. I have looked around for a replacment engine but so far have had no luck.We were thinking we have a couple ways to go the first being a rebuild and the secound a repower. We also need a mower deck and any other atatchments we can locate. So if anyone knows of a place to get the parts or has a line on an engine or atatchments LMK
Thanks

According to this there is a GT14. It's not a tube frame.

Yes, there is a GT14
I believe its part of the "XL" series

If you can get a picture of this tractor that would help.....

Hey Guy's thanks for the replies! Jason is correct the tracter is a G14 not a GT14. In fact I believe he has alredy spoken with my son about a few things that we are interested in. It looks like we have are hands full with this one! We went through the fuel system changed the oil put some motor honey in and a new battery and gave it a rip. Well things didn't turn out as we hoped, in fact the harness, what was left of it went up in smoke! This thing was cobble together like I have never seen before! The harness will need a complete rehab........Any sugestions

I have a good harness, or, there are wiring diagrams here on the forum and you can make up your own. Not that difficult at all.

Sounds like you are off to a good start. Usually when I get a new Bolens I always do a complete re-wire job. I have seen quite a few "interesting" wiring jobs done over the years LOL
