I picked up this oh160 at a yard sale sunday.i put a temp fuel line on it, checked oil, cleaned fuel bowl, put gas in it ,put some juice to the starter and it fired up. No smoke, no rattles, run great. Got it for 5 Bucks! They were packing up the sale and told me to make an offer so I did and they took it.i think it came off a welder,I happen to have a nice spare crank from a oh160 st 16 sears.to stick in it.

Definitely sweet, even if you dont use it right away, and it sits on a shelf, that engine is wayyyy better than the Chinese stuff, plus you can't beat the price!!!!

Omg, great score;)

You made out like a bandit on this one. You probably did save it from the scrap yard.

You suck :poke:

Great score!  I've been told you can find tapered bushings on evilbay so you can slide a pulley on, but I've never searched so can't verify

It has a straight crank with keyway, but the length of the crank that sticks out looks a little short
