Hi, Do any of the guys in the UK take there machines to the local shows? If so where ?

Have thought about it but it takes too much time. If I did have the time it would be to some of the steam engine shows. Smallwood is usually good and there are a few coming up near Tatton.

 

Not so sure visitors would understand them and what they could do????

Seems Plough (sic) days are the popular thing over there, we've seen those pictures here before.

Simon,

Rural Past Times in Sedlescombe, Sussex and Tractor Fest in Biddenden are good shows for those in the South East. Both are held in August.

New by Hall in Yorkshire is a good one apparently but you just missed that. Big turnout of Wheel Horses there with a few other makes too.

Like what Phil said, garden tractors are misunderstood over here in the UK. Most people think these are Ride Ons and are surprised when they see the garden tractors working. Most of the exhibits are full size tractors with classic cars and steam engines with a smattering of garden tractors.
