I haven't really been posting much lately but here is a project I am working on. I have been wanting to build one these for awhile realizing I would never find an original set. I still need 1 more reel mower to cannibalize and then weld up the frame.
it is going to be a 3 gang, and once it's all completed I will paint it in panzer turquoise.

I messed around tonight just pulling a single one around, it was kinda fun watching the grass fly, didn't get much done with an 18" cut!

anyone else ever build one?

I saw a three gang set-up at the Brooklyn Ag Days show in Brooklyn, CT last weekend, so they're out there. Not sure what brand it was and I didn't bother to take any pics. I remember Jim Haynes having a couple of those. You might want to check with HAPCO to find out if it was part of the Dandy deal.

building it is going to be more fun, plus i have almost nothing invested into this project all of it so far has been free.
I did track a 3rd reel reel down yesterday.

I haven dealt with hapco yet are they actually doing anything with the panzer parts yet?

Not sure if Hapco really has their act together yet on mail ordering the Panzer parts. You 'd have to give them a call or email.

Yeah - free is always better
