We are starting the restoration of several executives. Not a repaint but restoration. genuine kohler parts are in hand for the engine rebuilds. New seals and belts, we are doing a nut a bolt job. I will be updating as we go. The 7e will retain the original tires

Wow those are cool! I have one too, but it had been modified too much through the years to restore. It is a great little workhorse, been using it for dirt, gravel and snow pushing for 25 or 26 years.

Those look like great resto candidates. Hope you start build threads for them as you progress.

Both engines for the 8E and 7E have been rebuilt. The k161 stayed std but the k181 went .020 over. Frames have been blasted and parts habe been started on. Paint prep is everything

Please keep your updates coming! Looking good so far.

It looks like all of yours has the rocking pedals instead of the diamond plate footrests with a push pedal? I didn't realize in the short time they were produced that there were many variations.

Possibly that was also altered on mine somewhere through the years?

The 63s had the aluminum steering wheels and pedal clutch, the 64 have the white 3 spoke steering wheel with pedal clutch. And the 65s have the black 3 spoke wheels and running boards.

I just ordered some decals of of them yesterday and spoke with him today. I bought a couple for our Massey 65 and a some decals that I thought were neat. But in talking with him about a grill decal for my 1655, they have decals that aren’t shown on there website. Such as the 1200, 1450, 1655 etc style tractors. So if you are looking for something that isn’t on there website give them a call and he might have it. I’ve purchased decals from him before and they are very nice.

My decals for all my Ford's come from him and he is the only person I know that carries the Ford T series decals. He is a talker on the phone but nice as hell
