Have a k321 sitting in a Massey 14, no spark...

Tractor has sat for some time... covered, and under a boat.

Something is also going clack clack clack when I turn the motor over, under power from the starter

Any ideas? It has me beat

can you pin point where the "clack"ing is coming from?

Not really... from the motor for sure, sounds like near flywheel etc

Well for the first question of no ignition, if you didn't already check spark plug for spark.

Check if the noise is coming from inside or outside the engine cause that will really change where you go from here on the engine.

I just revived a K341 that had sat for eons, wound up with new everything in the ignition system, all was corroded beyond hope.  and got it running with the ignition switch unhooked, with a jumper to the +on the coil straight from battery and jumper cables directly to the starter, just now starting to go thru tractor wiring to see what-all is bad there.....

I pulled the plug, and grounded it out on the sheet metal, no spark...

You might at least pull the flywheel shroud. It could be a mouse nest or anything.
