best degreaser ive found is oven cleaner.

Believe it or not, but standard shampoo will remove grease as well, however you might want to invest in your own bottle as I don't think your wife will appreciate her expensive stuff being used to clean tractor parts. I use it too as a hand cleaner, cleans off grease and oil good.

Good stuff.

Gunk is good stuff:  But I use this one:

Much cheaper than the aerosol stuff.  dilute with diesel, kerosene, mineral spirits, put in Garden sprayer or small spray bottle depending on the job size.

Local store may not have it, but most can get it overnight from their warehouse.
