If the choke changes the way it runs, it is most likely not ignition related.

It does sound like a lean condition on one side. You can chase it down with a can of brake cleaner. Run the engine, with it missing out on one side, and spray the brake cleaner at the intake mounting gasket on the side not running. You can tell which side is not running by the difference in temperature of the two exhaust pipes. Continue along the seams of the intake manifold back toward the carb. When it starts running evenly, you found the location where it is sucking air.

Actually you can see it. The silicon falls out of bonded surface and the heat created by the leak separates the bonded pieces at the ends where the heat from the engine causes it to do so.

So any idea where to get intake gaskets. And I'm guessing eBay would be the best bet for intake itself if that's messed up. Just wondering because we plan on flipping this tractor eventually and I am not going to let it leave the farm half running

I got it to runoff both cylinders !!! Had a huge vacume leak in the intake manifold. I had to clean the manifold and riv around the seal that was there. Not really good looking but it dose run a lot better. Now to fix the key on my 220. Always somthing
