Welcome to GTT. Check out our Manuals Section and allow people some time to reply with the info. Post some pics of the tractor and the plow. Good Luck, Rick

Hello GT talk. I have a Gilson 38 in, 11 hp engine lawn tractor. Model 52118. I am having a real hard time finding a v belt for the clutch/brake. Goes from engine to the rear gear box. I can not find the correct designed size anywhere. I am having issues shifting gears while cutting the grass. I have replaced the belt size a few times and I do not think I have the correct size. I have adjusted the brake, no change. I believe my belt is too tight and it does not unclutch properly with the tensioner pulley. Cont to drive and it does not release the belt tension

Any help much appreciated. 3 weeks of finding the solution

Thank you

The belt needs to be so loose that it would fall off without belt guides when breaking,go a size or two longer, there's a manual section here that might have what you need
