Of course, I don't plant anything I don't like, but some things are definitely my favorites. Early in the season, I really like the lettuce and the collard greens. Later, my absolute favorite is tomatoes!

Today, I'm enjoying the first couple of beets that I pulled this morning. I like to dice them and add them to a salad. Nice and crunchy, and I like the flavor better than radishes.

Well, back to my lunch!!

Tossup for me, between green beans & sweet corn. Tomatoes low on my list. Squash is just for Teresa. Bell peppers & onions important though for making sweet pepper relish....GREAT in bean or potato soup!

To eat tomatoes & Corn are my favorite followed by the lettuce and spinich.

To grow on the otherhand, is Potatoes. I think they are one of the prettiest plants to grow.
That's kind of odd, because I'm not a big potato eater. Given a choice i'll takr rice over potatoes.

I would have to say sweet corn and then tomatoes. This is our first year for a garden so I can't say I have ever experienced it though. I will this year though :D

Maters! Especially fresh BLT's. YUM! Doing some broccoli this year. Planted early enough, but tomato plants are just starting to grow.

Gotta say I love my sweet corn. But it is only 6" tall now. Most of my veggies goes to a local CSA. This has been a rough spring and they bought all my spinach, broccoli, cabbage, and green onions. My strawberries were a flop, I wonder if no sun for the month of April had anything to do with that?? Oh, I also like new potato's. Should have some to dig in about 2 weeks...Greg

Anything that the deer, rabbits and squirrels don't get is my favorite. It seems they get 80% of the vegetable and I get the rest.
