A couple weeks ago my wife was with me when I was picking up a gt and I had a call from a guy I know that wanted to sell me this craftsman lawn tractor and 2 motors one being a wisconsin I wanted for my David Bradley,I have delt with this guy before and he is a pain in the rear to deal with. All his stuff is worth millions and your stuff is junk and he is always broke and lookin for all the money he can get(Wouldnt want to accidently get a job) so I tend to ignore him.Well this is the challenge my wife was lookin for.He wanted $350 for all of it.My wife shot back $100 offer and he of coarse said No,She told him take it or leave it and let him sit.....For a week!!!He tried everything he could think of dealing with her to no avail. Finally he calls and says come and get the stuff so we did and she closed the deal and paid for it!Now that is her tractor and she wants it restored for her to show!!!!She is going to help. Now she is on the hunt for another deal on a John Deere!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Welcome to my world, the world where you realize your significant other is a predator when it comes to negotiations! My wife is 98 pounds and five foot tall, they never see her coming. She will talk you out of your shoes and convince you to throw in your feet. Glad to be on her side. Be glad you have a great partner there.

My oldest granddaughter is that way. That girl can deal and loves to work on stuff. I bought her a radiator for her Camry and was going to install it but was handed a chair instead.

My wife once showed up on the flight line while I was running a turn and my Lt. Cmndr. escorted her into the helicopter so she could run his checks with him while I stood out front for hours like the looser mechanic I was. When we got done I asked what was going on and he tells me, he wanted someone's help that could grasp the operation. I felt pretty low but all in all he was just bored and she has a very good mind for our work. All of the other guys at work that evening were not really the top of the barrel, great mechanics but not ready for the cockpit. Nowadays we can't call it that anymore due to all the feelings of others and crap.

My wife is like that too far better than me. If I see a good deal I won't haggle. She'll walk away & do without before she breaks.
