I realise this is a long shot but I'll attempt it anyway... I've been on the search for one of these york brand model RS 5' rakes for a long time. I really wanted one with the scarifier bar & gauge wheels (didn't care if it has had the drop down blade or not). Well this past weekend I found one and it was a bare bones rake, nothing. It was cheap and in good shape tho so I pulled the trigger & bought it anyway even tho no wheels, scarifier, or blade. Just the rake itself with 2 broke tines. So by this time most of you have guessed what I'm looking for... you got it, if anyone by chance has a rake that's in bad shape, or don't use the wheels or scarifier bar on their rake and wouldn't mind parting with those items, PLEASE message me. I'd really like to get this rake set up how I want. KEN
P.S. could also use some extra tines.

Nice rake! I figured I'd never see a York around here so I built a rake.

I'll assume you've posted the build here somewhere but I haven't seen it... what did you do for wheels? Your turn for pics? Are you referring to no York brand landscape rakes or any brand? The cat0 stuff is deffinately getting harder to find but I figured it was all over, not just in the northeast.

Still looking for scarifier bar and tines if anyone has either. I've learned that both the 5' & 6' RS model york rake used the same scarifier bar & tines. Hopefully that will expand the possibilities of me locating them. I've also decided to make the hand crank style adjustable wheels (scaled down in size for my rake) they offered as optional wheel kit for the larger york rakes, so I'm no longer searching for wheels for the rake. Any help finding either of these things in this listing is greatly appreciated. NOT opposed to paying for shipping of these items.

Someone on Rochester NY Craigslist had a very nice York RS rake with the scarifer bar and wheels for $220. It sold before I saw this wanted ad, sorry for the late reply.
