Just wondering what someone would pay for a 1450 for parts. As far as I know they are very similar to the 1650, which is what I need it for. I've got a line on one that seems in decent shape, but aftermarket OHV engine that I wouldn't take. Going to hopefully check it out in the next few days and possibly pick it up, or just strip some of the better parts from it.

Much appreciated

That's a very good engine if it is running!!  I would leave as is.  Can't help on value, that's what you have to decide I guess. My vote is for whole tractor.

I agree with gl on the Vanguard.  One of the strongest running engines out there and I would not call them aftermarket.  My not be OEM, but not aftermarket.  Definitely a package buy for sure.

Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely find out if it's running or not. It's been hard to get a hold of this seller for questions. Trying to make arrangements to look at it in person, as it's about a 3 hour round trip to where it's located.

The 3 point, deck, and tiller alone are worth $5-600 around here.
