What do I have 1950's WH?

Been all over the interwebs trying to figure out what model and year this is. When I bought it the auction said it was a 1959? See the pics.

Looks like a 654. 6 hp Techumseh engine, electric start and a 1964 model.

I think the seat is not original.

Definitely a 1964 model 654, it even has the original Tecumseh engine. Nice find.

Thanks for the info that helps a lot! I just got it running and driving nicely next is to get the mower deck hooked up.

I don't think the front wheels are correct? They have large nuts as spacers on the axels. Can the front wheels still be found for these? The rubber has to be replaced anyhow so thought might get the right ones for it.

I think wrong rims and tires but cool looking GT love the grille on them. Look on red square forum for parts should not be to hard to find rims.

Nice find!! Looks like a PO put 6" rims on the front. It should have 8" rims.

One more ? What is this button for on the panel next to 3rd gear? I didn't look behind it seems something electrical does nothing when pushed.
