nope. looks good but not that good..... and who's gonna spend that kind of money on a tractor for a puller that isn't already most of the way tehre?  I didnt think that belt driven machines were very good "puller" candidates anyway.

Somehow I don't think they would let you pull with the gas tank on the back!

He also says ss12 but the hood says 14?????

Well that's not going to work.Figured there was something up with the clutch pulley. The Tecumseh powered suburbans had the clutch mechanism bolted fast to the engine. The Briggs powered SS14 and SS15 had the clutch bracket welded to the under side of the battery box / gas tank support which they would of had to cut up to fit that Vanguard Twin in there.

That is a Suburban 12 with SS14 hood by the clutch bracket that's in it. Can't bolt the clutch bracket fast to that engine no matter how hard you try.

Don't know what they did but this mess is not going to work.Zoomed in on the clutch portion of the pic. They tried just adding more pulleys to tighten up the belt but you can see the belt is still very loose.

They should of used an SS16 or GT18 for that repower or swapped the battery box out of one and put it in that tractor. The way it is now it's going to need some clever engineering and a bit of welding to fix.Decent looking tractor though.
