It's not the exactly correct color, but close enough. I also relaced the mid 80s Briggs on it with a Subaru engine that I acquired. The bottom photo is the new wheel color.b5e53255f667a6873876b093fed895a0.jpg

Have you used your tractor to plow yet ? Were you able to use the same size pulley ?

I plowed with it once back in 2013, but haven't since. The pulley on this engine is the same size that was on the old Briggs. The Briggs that was on it almost didn't have enough power to plow.

Well, many of the original units only had 1.6hp engine to begin with. What model is this one?

Looks good. Are you leaving the Subaru on or rebuilding the Briggs?

As the Briggs was a mid-80s model and not original, I'd leave the one he put on it... depending on hp anyway.

I like all original stuff, but everyone has different taste.

I agree with you 100%. But the point is the engine on it was not original. He could go find an original engine and stick it on there, but he would probably have an issue with a dirt plow

The Subaru will by all means provide more HP for using the single bottom for sure. Definitely more useable now with more power.

On a side not, I should've commented on the paint. Looks very well.

I'm re-doing a couple Briggs n engines right now. Hope to bring a couple of mine back to more original condition.

Looking good! Foot plow and all!
