Need a quiet exhaust for my Bolens 1054

Also i see that as Bolens changed hands over the years, the colours and tractor styles changed a bit.  But mine says Howard Bolens on it (which i presume is HW Bolens from the original partnership....great Bolens history section on here btw) but not many Bolens seem to have that on?  Was it a quirk of G series tractors or just the G10?

 

Howard is the company that imported bolens to your country they put the sticker on the tractors they imported.  

 

Bolens was owned by FMC from the late 40s to the early 80s Bolens never had a real set color over the years.

As Wilberj say Howard imported the Bolens in from the States. Howard's was the company that produced the large rotovators over here in the U.K.

Ahhh thank you for clearing that up.   That's why there aren't that many with it on, it's just the UK import machines.  Were they sole importers? Or were there others?

As far as I am aware only Howard's imported them. Not all of the UK Bolens has Howard's slapped on the hood (bonnet).
